**About the role**

Clyde & Co is an energetic global law firm with leading corporate clients and our Singapore office currently has a position available for a dynamic HR Assistant to join the team and provide support on a regional basis.

The Human Resources team in APAC is a high performing and collaborative team made up of HR generalists, recruitment, learning and D&I specialists.

Truly an energetic and open environment, this opportunity is a great platform to propel your career in HR with exposure to a variety of functions in a growing firm. Reporting directly to the Senior HR Manager of APAC, you will be part of a collaborative, supportive and fast-paced team.

Working across Clyde's APAC offices, we are seeking a driven and motivated **HR Assistant** based in Singapore on an initial 12 month fixed-term contract with potential for a permanent role upon completion.

**Key responsibilities and objectives**

As the HR Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the team with your key responsibilities to include:

- Providing support with the onboarding of new joiners, which includes sending relevant documentation to new joiners, updating all HR databases and systems and ensuring that all regulatory bodies are notified and updated
- Maintaining and updating employee databases, files and records
- Processing relevant leave requests, including parental leave and relevant local statutory claims submissions
- Working with payroll to ensure that employee variations, new joiners and exiting employees are captured monthly
- Assisting with the preparation of employee letters and documentation
- Involvement in ad-hoc projects such as the salary review process, producing HR reports, HRIS data gathering, and assistance with the coordination of the summer clerk, internships and graduate programs
- Supporting other ad hoc administrative requests (e.g. process invoices in Chrome River, room bookings for interviews etc)
- Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.

**Essential skills and experience**

As you will be liaising with partners, lawyers and senior management you must be a confident and clear communicator and have an open and approachable personality. It will be important for you to be professionally presented, organised, have excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic. You must be proficient in using Word and Excel (Microsoft Office 2010) as you will be using these programs on a daily basis.

Overall, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about the opportunity and highly efficient. We need a person who is motivated, looking to grow in the Professional Services HR space, and who wants to share in our passion for success.
