**Role Overview**:
We are looking for a visionary leader with deep technical and leadership expertise to shape our risk management strategy, enabling us to scale responsibly while safeguarding our operations, reputation, and customer trust.

As Head of Risk, you will leverage your extensive experience in fintech, data-driven decision-making, and innovative risk mitigation to build and lead a comprehensive risk management framework. You will oversee the design and implementation of systems that combine AI, data analytics, and regulatory compliance to identify and address potential risks across our operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Risk Strategy and Framework**:

- Develop and implement an enterprise risk management (ERM) framework tailored to our industry and stage of growth
- Establish governance structures, policies, and workflows to mitigate credit, operational, market, and fraud risks

**2. Advanced Risk Management Systems**:

- Architect and manage bespoke risk engines powered by AI for fraud detection, credit risk, and operational resilience
- Oversee the development of tools to track the lifecycle of assets, transactions, and customer interactions

**3. Regulatory Compliance and Adaptability**:

- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations in SEA
- Adapt risk strategies to meet evolving regulatory and market demands

**4. Leadership and Collaboration**:

- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of data analysts, engineers, and risk professionals to achieve key objectives
- Foster a risk-aware culture across the organization by training stakeholders and integrating risk management into decision-making

**5. Data-Driven Risk Assessment and Mitigation**:

- Use advanced BI and AI tools to conduct real-time risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Establish key risk indicators (KRIs) and performance metrics to monitor and improve risk posture

**6. Crisis Management and Resilience Planning**:

- Develop and oversee incident response plans and business continuity strategies
- Lead the organization through risk events with confidence and clear communication

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in risk management, with leadership roles in fintech or technology-focused industries.
- Strong technical skills, including Python, SQL, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and AI frameworks
- Proven experience developing bespoke risk management systems, including fraud detection engines and operational risk tools
- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks in diverse markets.
- Exceptional team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills
