Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is looking for 2 Educational Analytics Technologist to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in data warehouse systems and learning data analytics to develop student and staff facing dashboards.Extract, transform and load structure and unstructured data into data warehouse/cloud system
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data collection and processing
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data refreshes or discrepancies in analytics
- Ensure data quality and accuracy in data validation and transformation processes
- Maintain and manage the dashboard analytics refresh process to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Monitor data sources and identify opportunities for improvement in data quality and refresh efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies related to dashboard analytics and data management
- Interpret complex data sets and present findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders using data visualization tools and techniques.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data warehouse processes, schemas, and configurations.- Requirements:- Bachelor in Data Engineering, Computer Sciences, Business analytics, Information Technology or its equivalent
- Knowledge and proficient in database management systems (eg. SQL Server, mySQL, PostgreSQL), data warehouse development and best practices as well as cloud technologies (eg. AWS)
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration
- Understanding of data modelling concepts and data architecture for analytics
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and reporting techniques (eg. Power BI)
- Experience with the Denodo platform is preferred
- Proficiency in programming languages (eg. Python) and machine learning algorithms is a plus
- Experience with LMS and educational technology tools is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams- This is a 3 years contract appointment.Hiring Institution: LKC
