NorthEast Singapore Pathlight School Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) Full time

Responsibilities
1. Support a multi-disciplinary team in training and assessment of residents by coaching them in Residential Living Skills such as:

- Maintain household chores, including preparing simple meals
- Manage their time within the residence and preparing them to go to work
- Live with others - sharing common spaces, meals, and chores, as well as consideration for one another’s needs

2. Support residents during day and night shift hours (rotation):

- Ensure safety and security of residents at all times
- Respond to emergencies as required

3. Provide a safe and homely environment
- Co-develop house rules with the residents
- Ensure residents are accountable for their household duties
- Provide opportunities for social interactions and community

4. Maintain the comfort, safety, and security of a home (just like your own home)
- Upkeep common areas if residents are still in the process of learning to be independent in household chores
- Assist and coordinate repairs as required

**Requirements**:

- Min GCE 'O' level with 1 - 2 years working experience.
- Have knowledge and understanding of autism and skills in housekeeping
- Good interpersonal and relational skills
- Passion to work with individuals on a autism spectrum
- 3 rotating shifts. Required to work on Saturday/Sunday and Public Holiday.
