
Service Business Manager for Distributor

The **Service Business Manager for Distributor Organization** is accountable for the design and successful implementation of distributor service & support programs and processes to achieve business objective. You will direct the Technical Support we provide to our Distributors at assigned countries in the South Asia Pacific Region where Agilent do not operate.
Also, you will consult and advise Distributors to uphold Agilent's pride in providing a truly differentiated customer service experience, collaborating with Sales teams to ensure alignment of goals and that the Distributors are always prepared to support the instruments we sell.
- Plan and direct resources, including leading employees involved to implement tactical business plans and programs/ projects.
- Build, maintain and manage relationships with distributors and channel partner.
- Look for opportunities to continuously improve and optimize customer support & service offerings, processes, and performance to drive efficiency, customer satisfaction and build a customer centric mentality.
- Lead technical field service teams to address and resolve specific technical issues raised by customers and partners.
- Improve Distributors' support capability through planning Technical Training & Mentoring for their Engineers
- Ensure adherence to Agilent Policy.
- Develop and implement solutions to department/customer issues as required.
- Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent with relevant experience as a manager and/or supervisor.
- 5+ years of Service Business Management experience in a channel/distributor environment and Scientific Instrumentation industry.
- Excellent project management with demonstrated ability in developing and leading the execution of complex analytical instrument service and maintenance programs.
- Strong discernment in business and high adaptability to navigate through dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Proven leadership skills in leading and managing both internal partners and external customers.
- A _people_ person - skilled in building and maintaining successful relationships within the team and with internal and external partners globally.
- Outcome driven and good interpersonal skills with ability to influence and drive consensus to resolve critical issues.
- Diplomatic, collaborative and team-orientated.
- Proficiency in one of South Asia language will be added advantage.
- Open and willing to travel for work to countries including but not limited to the following:
- Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, Guam, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, New Caledonia, French Polynesia, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Vietnam.
