**Job Description**:
The following duties are expected to be performed.
- Assessment of the client demand & needs, presentation of our proposal, acquisition of engagement from Japanese clients considering new expansion into Southeast Asia and clients who have already expanded into Southeast Asia
- Providing incorporation, international tax, bookkeeping, tax computation, audit support to the existing clients in Singapore and new clients coming from overseas
- Providing cross-border M&A services such as Financial Advisory, Enterprise Valuation, Financial and Tax Due Diligence to the companies aross Asia Pacific
- Assisting in the preparation of forecasted financial information for acquisition, restructuring and financial reporting purposes and providing analytical advice as an independent expert on the validity of the assumptions underlying the financial forecasts.
- Developing financial models for the valuation of complex structures, including multiple share classes, multiple geographic models, start-ups and technology-based businesses, and value businesses, equities, tangible and intangible assets and financial instruments for acquisition, restructuring and financial reporting purposes.
- Business restructuring advisory for companies in South-east Asia
- Support for financial reporting to representative/managing director of the subsidiary and the accounting department of the head office in Japan, as well as the development & implementation support of internal controls associated with its reporting

**Job Requirement**:

- Holding ACCA, CA Singapore, Certified Public Accountant in Japan or USCPA are required in order to provide the pesuasive external and independent advice or assurance service in respect of financial and tax accounting to assist clients in decision making
- At least 5 years of experience in working in the field of financial audit at International recognised audit firm (at least within 10th in the global ranking) is required
- At least 2 years of experience as an in-charge of audits for stock listed companies (headquarter) is required to carry out the responsibilities in this role since our client portfolio occupies mainly listed companies or their main subsidiaries.
- In-depth practical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and External Audit for Internal Control required to stock listed companies is a must as advisory for the assessment and redevelopment of internal controlson according to the international certified standards are indispensible for some cases of the project in business restructuring and M&A.
- Knowledge and experience in accounting related to auditing, taxation, and M&A
- High level of verbal and written proficiency in English is essential.
- Japanese language skills will provide more opportunities for day-to-day communication with Japanese-speaking clients, and for roles as project managers.
- Strong quantitative skills with an understanding of financial statements and the ability to build a three-table financial model in Excel is advantageous
- Strong grasp of business and intangible assets valuation concepts; proficiency in financial instruments valuation is a plus
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and presentation/reporting skills, combined with a good understanding of business dynamics and commercial value drivers
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong capability to manage multiple projects
- Frequent travel to overseas as well as working over weekends and evening time is expected as to meet client's demanding project schedule
