We give customers access to digital asset markets that is supported by institutional grade tech and service. Daenerys has begun to build relationships with other key players in the ecosystem and the Daenerys team is very passionate about building out the crypto market in the APAC region over the coming years.

This role requires you to have a ‘do-whatever-it-takes’ mindset and learn to operate just outside the limit of your comfort zone. If this excites you, but also makes you a bit nervous, then you might be the right fit.

In the exciting growing phase of the company, we are looking to have on board an experienced and motivated professional to join our team.

**Job Brief**:
We are seeking an experienced trader to join our growing company. This is a new role and as the head of the cryptocurrency trading desk, you will be required to lead the buildout of the trading desk and manage the on-going business, establishing trading processes and systems as part of the buildout. You also be required to establish a network of counterparties and be responsible for the ongoing management of these relationships. As the business head, you will also be responsible for managing communication with the regulators.
- Your responsibilities will also include conducting trades on cryptocurrencies on behalf of our clients. You will be required to develop trading strategies to balance risk management with profit-seeking when buying and selling on trading platforms. This will also include creating and delivering reports on a regular basis to both clients and management.

**Key Accountabilities/ Responsibilities**:

- Build out the trading function by establishing required systems and processes.
- Manage the trading desk, conducting cryptocurrency trades on our clients’ behalf. Oversee performance of the trading team. Exception management, tracking transaction status and timely resolution of any queries/discrepancy raised.
- Ensuring high quality client service to Daenerys clients.
- Monitor market activities in areas of specialization, identify trading strategies/relative value opportunities, and provide feedback to portfolio managers.
- Responsible for developing relationship & regular interaction with Client, Market Participants, Trading Partners, and internal linkages.
- Responsible for managing communication with regulators and ensuring general compliance with financial regulations.
- Manage the company’s P&L.
- Work with internal stakeholders and help teams execute shared vision and overseeing and developing products for the market. Conduct research on the crypto markets and monitor market trends.

**Key Requirements**:

- 5 to 7 years of trading experience in markets.
- At minimum a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or mathematics.
- Experience and proven knowledge of Crypto market & trading. Prior experience in establishing a trading desk (systems and processes) is a plus.
- Proven experience in communicating and liaising with Singaporean regulators.
- Sound risk management skills.
- Strong quantitative skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a client service mindset.
