**Group Commercial Development**

Group Commercial Development (GCD) is established to create strategic value for PSA and our customers by focusing on development of value creation opportunities in collaboration with our key customers. GCD works closely with our key customers on a global basis to develop our relationships and partnership opportunities, and to collaborate with PSA’s global ports and teams to drive commercial strategies and opportunities.

**Data For Business**

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- **Global account management**:

- Support customer engagement initiatives to develop customer relationships globally. This will include co-management of at least 1 major global carrier.
- Support account planning and execution jointly with internal stakeholders
- **Business intelligence / Data For Business (DFB)**:

- Conduct market and trade, customer and competitive research and analysis, in collaboration with the DFB / DFE teams.
- Utilise the research analysis and customer relationships to develop commercial strategies, identify opportunities and threats to growth.
- Examples of projects include the mapping of dollar value global trade to the global seaborne container trade, to better assess impact / opportunities such as shortening of global supply chain. Another would be the project to predict ocean freight rates for major trade lanes.
- Develop presentations for effective communication of key initiatives
- **Sustainability**:

- Support participation in sustainability initiatives, climate action groups and international forums to reinforce PSA’s commitment in sustainability and climate action e.g. greening of supply chain, Getting to Zero Coalition
- Plan and develop communications, relevant marketing materials and outreach sessions for sustainable supply chain collaborations
- Support industry consultations and engagements for data validation and analysis of Scope 3 abatement projects to achieve PSA’s sustainability targets, visions and reporting requirements
- Scaling up digital engagements and digital projects, including OptEArrive project with major carriers, and help pitch the PSA’s Green Label to carriers and other stakeholders.

**Pre-requisites**
- Preferably 1-2 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or data analysis. Fresh grads welcome.
- Strong analytical skills and research capabilities. Ability to understand business needs, identify opportunities and develop holistic and pragmatic solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to deal with management levels of external and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills in English.
- Team player with proactive and result-oriented personality. Motivated self-starter, good articulation, enjoys challenges.
- Fluency in an Asian language would be an advantage.
