Data Science and AI Developer, Digital (6-month contract)

Cambrian Ventures is a business model innovator in digital healthcare, interactive advertising and eCommerce. We are looking for founding team members across business and tech. We are recruiting on behalf of a listed retailer.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Define frameworks and develop software programs to generate business and consumer insights using data from CRM, Inventory, web analytics (online consumer surfing and purchase behavior), 3rd party platforms and corporate data warehouse.

2. Design frameworks and develop software programs to monitor competitive landscape.

3. Guide frontend developers to design actionable business intelligence dashboard to be used by business stakeholders.

4. Implement cutting-edge Data Science and AI process including the use of Tensorflow.

5. Design algorithm models and develop scripts to facilitate the above objectives.

6. Work with the IT team, CRM team, Digital development team to integrate data flow across systems towards meeting business objectives.

7. Be involved in other digital transformation initiatives including but not limited to digital marketing, marketing automation, data analytics, operations design and building new digital products.
**JOB REQUIREMENT**
**Requirements**:

- At least 2 years of data science and AI experience in an established organization.
- At least 2 years of development experience in a combination of PHP, Python, R, Tensorflow and building APIs.
- At least 1 year of experience in generating insights from analytics within a retail, banking, technology, consulting, government or research institute environment.
- At least 1 year of experience in designing data warehouse.
- Lead the launch of at least 1 data science or AI programme within an established organization.
- Experience in the consumer industry is required.
- A high level of resourcefulness and an orientation for outcome is required.
- Experience working in cross functional and multi-cultural teams preferred.
- Degree, minor or training in Computer Science, Engineering or Business IT preferred.
- Passionate about technology, digital, consumer products and retail.
- Based in Singapore, Malaysia (KL), Australia (Sydney, Melbourne), Vietnam (HCM), Thailand (Bangkok) or Indonesia (Jakarta). Occasional travel may be required.
- 6-month contract (with 3-month probation) convertible to a 1-year contract or a permanent role depending on business needs.
