Job Description
KPMG’s Global Health Care and Life Sciences team brings a breadth of experience working with and within the industry and leverages real-world experience to support clients to define, translate and execute on their strategic ambitions. We leverage this global strength, localised to Asia Pacific, to work in partnership with our clients and the healthcare ecosystem to address a range of strategic imperatives; such as digital transformation and innovation, new business and care models, commercial excellence, growth and go-to-market, marketing and sales effectiveness, supply chain and operational excellence, policy shaping and public affairs.
With Healthcare and Life Sciences a strategic priority sector in Asia Pacific, KPMG is looking for a Manager with experience in Healthcare & Life Sciences AI, Digital and Data Strategy to help us drive impact in market and to our clients by supporting with project delivery, business development and market engagement.
The role primarily involves the following:
Leading and supporting the delivery of digital/data/AI projects in the Healthcare & Life Sciences space. This will include planning the delivery work, management of the broader delivery team as well as identifying the analysis needed to be done. The Manager is expected to bring sector expertise and technical experience to guide the team in their work and work closely with senior personnel in the team to ensure high quality project delivery
Contributing to the growth and development of the KPMG Singapore and Asia Pacific Healthcare & Life Sciences digital, data and AI strategy practice by actively participating in business development activities like managing bid responses and client engagements
Contribute to the development of the sector team via active participation in activities that improve the ongoing operations and team engagement, contributing area of technical expertise to continuously improve digital, data and AI team capability
Support broader practice development activities including the following:
Developing a strong digital, data and AI Healthcare and Life Sciences practice
Considering innovative client contracting models such as managed services, risk-reward, and asset-based engagements
Understanding how to take the solution ideas to clients, to drive business development, manage accounts, and ultimately deliver project engagements
Supporting identify and develop market and client opportunities related to trends in digital, data and AI in the sector to bring innovative solutions to clients and shape market impact
Support market and client business development to shape ecosystem impact and drive client outcomes
The ideal candidate should have:
At least 7 years of experience in Healthcare & Life Sciences, with demonstrable credentials in one or more of the following areas:
PM experience leading data, analytics and AI solution projects (data science). From design all the way to implementation and management
Experience delivering such projects in healthcare and/or life sciences. Ideally experience in consulting
Demonstrated experience with cross functional and cross geography stakeholder engagement and team management
Ideally Agile delivery certified (ie Scrum Master, PMP) / other relevant qualifications
Diligent project management skills; SDLC project documentation, proactive actions, decision, risk and issue management, stakeholder engagement and change management
Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
Experience and interest in interfacing with senior industry executives
Able to come up with flexible, creative and innovative approaches to problem solving with a learning mindset
Comfortable and confident in ambiguity, complexity and shaping conversations for convergence, options, decisions and outcomes
Familiar with operating in a regional environment across Asia Pacific
