RESPONSIBILITIES
The Assistant Manager develops programmes to suit the needs of clients and caregivers. He/she supports Head, CSS to oversee the execution of these programmes under Community Based Support Services.

CSS is the dynamic and nimble service delivery arm in MINDS that response to emerging needs of PWIDs and Caregivers in the community. Examples of services include Me Too Club, MYG, Empowering Bubbles, Home-based Care Services, Caregivers Support Services, Special Student Care Centres and Appropriate Adult Services to enhance integration and community living of caregivers and PWIDs in the community.

The Assistant Manager manages the risk and quality of the programmes, monitors programme expenses to ensure they are within the budget and reviews information materials that are for distribution to clients and volunteers. He/she determines the volunteer needs for programmes and guides junior staff and volunteers in executing programme activities. He/she also collaborates with other organisations to develop programmes and develops community outreach plans to target client groups, external agencies, organisations and the community.

A client-centric, resourceful, proactive professional, the Assistant Manager is strategic in his approach and works in various voluntary welfare organisations, communities and institutional settings.

**Programmes and Event Coordination**
- Manage programme risk, quality and compliance
- Evaluate and review weekday and weekend programmes to ensure relevance and effectiveness in meeting future needs of clients.
- Assisting in the creation and development of new social service programs to address emerging needs.
- Oversee programme quality control and compliance procedures

**Resource Management**
- Review client, caregiver, and volunteer records and progress for proper documentation
- Monitor programme expenses to ensure operations are within allocated budgets
- Review information materials for distribution to clients and volunteers
- Determine volunteer needs and profile for programmes
- Organize volunteer events, activities and trainings

**Stakeholder Relation**
- Guide junior staff and volunteers in executing programme activities
- Collaborate with other organisations for the development of programmes
- Manage communications and feedback from stakeholders and junior staff
- Develop community outreach plans to target client group, other organisations and the community.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree Holder in relevant field of Disability/Allied Health Professional/ Mass Communications
