Executing the strategic direction and vision of GVR in Vietnam
- Leading the formulation and implementation of sales, marketing and value proposition strategies that maximize revenue growth and operating profit expansion
- Identifying new opportunities by liaising with the wider team, clients and industry to identify new product, market and channel opportunities.
- Developing and securing new business, either by introducing new products or services or by nurturing new customer accounts that further enhances revenue growth and profitability.
- Implement VBS tools including Value Selling and VOC to improve Sales & Marketing processes, capabilities, and results.
- Negotiate key account service contracts, channel and service level agreements in conjunction with the nominated leaders in the broader leadership team.
- Directing sales activities by setting product mix, geographical sales and customer service standards.
- Supporting the development and implementation of the sales funnel process.
- Ensuring the long-term profitable growth of the company by providing alignment of all business development activities to the business strategies and ensure that:

- Sales volumes and profitability objectives are exceeded.
- Operating profit levels are secured, controlled, and in line with policy;
- Consumer marketing costs are managed effectively;
- Sales & marketing overheads are managed within budget
- Protect the Company’s interests and ensures that a responsible and dynamic image is presented in all dealings with stakeholders by;
- Providing leadership strategies for building strong customer relationships and service ethic that ensures GVR develops and maintains a distinct competitive advantage.
- Fostering and maintaining good relationships with major suppliers, key clients, external organizations such as industry associations, government representatives and sales, marketing, petroleum or like communities.
- Assisting in the management of GVR’s corporate image by making recommendations on public relations strategies and participating in events that support the corporate strategy
- Direct and control the preparation of operational matters including market research, advertising, promotion, distribution, sales, service and Gilbarco Veeder-Root product range.
- Ensure all the activities of the Sales team comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards.
- To cultivate a harmonious culture in Vietnam dedicated to the satisfaction of the demands of our customers.
- Total Experience in years: 6-10 years of experience
- Graduation/ Degree: Bachelor's degree in Sales, Technical, Marketing, Business or related field.
- Written and verbal communication skills in English as well as fluency in Vietnamese
- 6+ years’ experience in managing a sales team with 2-3 years experience in leading sales portfolio for a region in oil and gas sector or retail forecourt
- Experience in developing, implementing and leading sales strategies preferably in launching a new product or capturing new market
- Ability to articulate and implement growth strategies along with budget and financial plans
- Able to lead and manage complex sales accounts
- Able to establish and lead strategic sales activities to increase market share
- Leadership of a Vietnamese/international sales organization
- Vietnamese /international experience with financial and legislative regulations
