**JOB SUMMARY**
We are looking for a skilled General Manager to lead our Payroll Outsourcing and HR technology SaaS business in Singapore and Malaysia. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for setting strategic goals, developing business plans, company operating policies and ensuring the company's growth and profitability in the region. You will also be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, including leading teams, developing and maintaining industry relationships and partnerships, and overseeing business operations for the country.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Create and implement effective annual business plans to ensure company growth, profitability and market share in the country in consultation with the Chief Operations Officer - International to ensure organizational alignment.
- Lead and develop a high-performing country teams including creating an inspiring work culture as defined by our Core Values.
- Represent the company to government agencies, industry networking events and professional associations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and effectively manage business risk.
- Evaluate local market trends and communicate insights to the company's Headoffice in Bangkok.
- Develop and maintain strategic industry partnerships.
- Maximize profit margins and manage operational budgets effectively.
- Deliver consistent service quality and client satisfaction to maintain our reputation as the top provider of payroll outsourcing and HR technology SaaS solutions in the country.
- Initiate meetings and/or periodic visits to existing clients offices to reflect an inclusive and professional working partnership.
- Guide the sales team in the response to RFI/RFP with the completion of tender documents.
- Work in conjunction with the sales team to ensure effective demonstration and presentation of product benefits to potential clients.
- Provide go live leadership guidance as appropriate for key strategic clients.
- Constantly provide feedback to the technology teams to further improve our HR Technology to meet country statutory compliance and future client needs.
- Oversee general administration to ensure a safe, conducive and legally compliant workplace and business operations.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Degree or Post Graduate Degree in Finance, Human Resources or other relevant field
- Minimum 5 years experience as a General Manager or similar role in a Payroll Outsourcing and HR technology SaaS business, with evidence of achievement
- Must have hands-on working experience in a Business Processing and/or Payroll Outsourcing environment
- Working knowledge of local labour law and HR practices in Singapore and Malaysia
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Keen business acumen
- Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to anticipate and respond quickly to shifting market trends and environments
