The role is embedded in Chevron’s downstream fuels and lubricants business; and is part of a regional group which is responsible for assessing growth opportunities and executing commercial transactions and projects around the Chevron’s asset in the region. Such projects may include opportunity screening, acquisition assessment, divestments, sales agreements and lease negotiations.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Leading or supporting complex projects of commercial nature pertaining to downstream fuels and lubricants business in the regional markets- Developing communication material for engaging management- Working with key internal stakeholders e.g. legal, finance, sales organization to frame opportunities and structure transactions- Working with deal team to develop negotiation plan- Establishing a network of contacts to enhance market intelligence and leverage these data sources to generate insights and identify growth opportunities

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree holder- At least 10 years of relevant experience in energy / chemicals / lubricants industry- Knowledge of relevant business lines (fuels & lubricants sales / marketing, refinery planning, transportation and logistics) is essential and experience will be an advantage- Analytical capabilities especially around business valuation- Understanding of financials and commercial / legal aspects- Understanding of joint ventures and partnerships- Effective oral and written communication and good collaboration behaviors- Experience of working on M&A projects / transactions is preferred though not essential- Capability of building strong internal and external relationships

Relocation Options:
Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
