
Account & Brand Activation Manager - Titleist

**Objective of the job
The Account & Brand Activation Manager - Titleist is responsible for building strong partnerships with trade accounts, achieving an annual sales target, and holding brand activation events to connect dedicated golfers to the Titleist brand.
Day to day responsibilities for Account Management include, establishing and maintaining high quality partnerships and building best business practice with trade accounts. Building sales, quality merchandising and an education focus with accounts on Acushnet products and processes.
**Primary Responsibilities - Account Management**:
- Present and embody the Acushnet Company and its Titleist brand with a focus on; superior performance golf products, exceptional quality, premium bias, service orientation, golf authentic, building golfers trust, market leadership and continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain a very strong “trusted advisor” relationship with trade partners adding value to each their business, while also identifying potential new opportunities
- Manage the sales function of trade accounts within the territory in accordance with a strong service orientated call cycle
- Travel throughout the territory to service existing and prospective trade partners for their Acushnet business needs
- Professional high-quality presentation to trade partners of Acushnet products and services, including demonstrating products, using samples and tools provided, to highlight key F&B’s
- Building Sales pre-books in line with territory goals and targets
- Merchandise Acushnet products, in partnership with trade partners, to develop industry leading displays befitting Acushnet’s brands and their market leading position
- Conduct trade partner education and training of Acushnet products
- Investigate and pro-actively resolve trade partner problems to ensure best practice service standards
- Provide reports, territory insights and analysis as and when required in a timely manner
- Quote prices, programs and terms including preparing sale orders for the trade partners & corporate accounts
- Update relevant new and existing trade partner reports to ensure accuracy of database
- Respond to online questions and requests from consumers on products and events
- Respond to custom golf ball enquires and quote directly to consumers
- Attend company sales meetings, training courses and trade events/tournaments as required
- Achievement of annual territory sales budget
- Any other reasonable duty as assigned
**Primary Responsibilities - Brand Activation**:
- Present and embody the Acushnet Company and its Titleist brand in each Brand Activation event, in doing so ensuring golfers are properly educated, so they can gain their best performance from, and enjoyment of, their Titleist products
- Organise and conduct consumer focused Brand Activation events throughout territory in line with the country strategies
- Specifically:
- Execute Titleist Club Trail & Fitting events to ensure dedicated golfers are provided the opportunity to be fitted with Titleist Golf Clubs
- Execute Golf Ball Education, Seeding, Trial and Fitting events to ensure golf ball myths are broken and that dedicated golfers gain a deeper understanding of golf ball performance
- Post Club and Ball events, follow-up with consumers who attend to answer any questions and to assist with closing the sales loop
- Proactive, positive, and attentive interaction with golfers throughout the territory
- Encourage all dedicated golfers you meet to join our Team Titleist community
- Any other reasonable duty as assigned
- The role will require some weekend work and travel
**Selection Criteria**
ESSENTIAL
- Passion for the game of golf and the golf industry
- Understand the importance of a customer service orientation be solutions focused
- 5+ years of Golf Sales experience
- 5+ years and accreditation of Trackman Launch Monitor
- Strong knowledge of the golf swing with accomplished playing credentials (PGA Member or Elite Amateur)
- Ability to present to a wide variety of customers in a detailed manner regarding, Ball, Club and Gear product presentations.
- Excellent communication skills, including well developed listening and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Self-motivated, including the ability to work autonomously and achieve daily action plans
- Professional personal presentation
- Strong attention to detail
- Team Player
- Excellent skills with Microsoft Office Software
