**YOUR ROLE**
This is a unique opportunity for a brand manager with amazon experience to develop within a VC-backed startup that aims to become the next global consumer goods giant. Work closely with the founding team, and will be in the driver's seat when it comes to helping our portfolio companies scale to become regional and global brand champions.
- You will be a P&L owner who is responsible for budgets as well as driving up revenue and EBITDA growth
- You analyze Amazon ASIN level data (sales, conversation rate, page views, costs, etc.) and develop strategies to increase sales, reduce costs and drive conversion rates of acquired products; this may include: price optimization, PPC, packaging/inserts, coupons and deals, customer communications, creative campaigns, changing package dimensions, removing unprofitable products and more
- You proactively catch issues before they become problems and understand everything about the ecosystem in which your products are selling (e.g., competitor landscape, industry landscape, Amazon marketplace rule changes)
- You take care of the day-to-day maintenance of keeping product listings successful on Amazon; This includes: monitoring metrics shifts, understanding market trends, changing customer profiles, demographics, daily reporting, competitive landscape, pricing changes, liaising with offshore customer service teams, and inventory monitoring
- You partner up with internal teams to develop and facilitate go-to-market strategies, impactful product launches and international expansion plans
**YOUR PROFILE**
- You have 2+ years of relevant experience in e-commerce, marketing or an analytical function, preferably at a fast paced startup
- You have experience with amazon, from past employments or running your own Amazon brand
- You thrive entrepreneurial ambition love a pro-active, hands-on approach
- You have previous experience in e-commerce, ideally even from managing your own web-shop or something related
