The Brand Partnership Activation Department (BRPD) at Rakuten focuses on creating and nurturing strategic partnerships with brands to enhance growth and success.
This involves Building Strong Relationships, Developing and Executing Innovative Campaigns, Maximizing Value, Driving Customer Engagement and Data-driven insights.
Position Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute activation strategies for Rakuten’s Sports & Entertainment partnerships to achieve KPIs
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders/ teams across locations (BU teams, Taiwan Ecosystem team, PR, digital, etc.) and external vendors and partners (eg. Agencies, sports partners) to create integrated campaigns that leverage Rakuten’s assets.
- Manage the planning and execution of events, promotions, and content initiatives that engage fans and promote Rakuten’s brand.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to optimize future activations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, ensuring alignment on goals and maximizing the value of partnerships.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously innovate and improve activation strategies.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to deliver high-impact activations within allocated budgets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in brand activation, partnership marketing, or a related role, preferably within the Sports & Entertainment industry.
- Able to converse in both English and Mandarin as you will be working closely with various stakeholders based in Taiwan.
- Proven track record of successfully executing partnership activation campaigns that drive engagement and brand growth.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Creative thinker with a passion for developing innovative and engaging fan experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changes.
