DESCRIPTION

Join us at CMA CGM Group Learn about data collection, data preparation and analysis for market/competitor/customer research studies. Under the guide of your manager, you will leverage on existing and new data sets to enable data-driven insights and decisions.

KEY RESULT AREAS

Advise on data sources, extract or collect data and prepare them into meaningful information for analysis
Perform analysis and assist in articulating insights
Completion of tasks within agreed schedule

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Conduct data collection and analysis for market research studies as required
Support aggregation of news to deduce near term key trends to be highlighted in monthly insights newsletter
Assist in building reports / presentations for management team
Assist in creating dashboards using data visualization tools (Qliksense)
Assist in liaising with the agencies (within APAC region) and Head Office (Marseille, France) on data projects
Assist in liaising with stakeholders on setting up follow up from market research studies conducted
Identify new opportunities for process improvement in data collection, analysis and presentation

INCUMBENT SPECIFICATION

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong competence in Microsoft Suite (excel, power query etc), ability to work with large datasets

Ideally competent in at least 1 programming language for data analysis (e.g. SQL, Python, R etc.),

Web, digital savvy (data visualization, dashboarding skills, ideally familiar with Qliksense)

Meticulous and good time management skills

Team player with the ability to work independently within deadlines

Strong desire to learn and work with new digital tools
