As a Lead, Vendor Management & Outsourcing you'd be able to work on and solve many interesting challenges which we are facing, learn new ways of working, and help build delightful high quality products for our customers.

This role will work with the Venture, SCB, SCV risk stakeholders and Fin Tech Partners/vendors and support the Venture build and timely roll out. The individual will work with businesses and functions across SC Ventures and SC Group.

**The Role Responsibility**:
Strategy
- Ensure vendor risk management processes (new and on-going) are carried out periodically as specified by governance standards.
- Identify where tasks are redundant and/or can be run in parallel to speed up on-boarding and renewal process.
- Be the point of contact for the Vendor team and Contract owners for all risk approvals required and ensure compliance to vendor onboarding procedures.
- Support Outsourcing governance forum set up and run to comply with regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Management
- Develop strong stakeholder engagements to ensure that a vendor strategy is developed for the Digital banking area.
- Timely circulation of vendor onboarding tracker and regular session with contract and risk owners to drive timely onboarding.

Project Management
- Identify and mitigate risks that would impact the overall project success/failure.
- Ensure projects are prioritized and delivered against agreed timelines.
- Create standard templates with clear instructions on next steps, details required and links to required tools for repeatable tasks.
- Guide the contract owners end-to-end on the vendor onboarding processes for:

- Raising Engagement Requests
- Raising Sourcing Requests for SCM engagement
- Legal engagement for contract review
- Clearing the various risk assessments (TPSR, Cloud, Resilience, Data Privacy, Outsourcing, Tech Standards, etc)
- Signed contracts to be documented for PO requests

Cross Functional Engagement
- Work with SCV Supply Chain Management (SCM) team.
- Lead engagement with cross functional teams: Technology & Innovation, Legal, Compliance, Tax, Risk, and Finance on sourcing activities.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives as identified during the BAU processes.

Risk Management
- Following up with various Risk Owners to get updates on progress (TPSR, Cloud Gov, Tech Resilience, Outsourcing, legal, Tech Standards) and approvals etc.
- Support the business and functional teams in day 2 supplier matters in line with TPRM Policies and Standards.
- Support BAU functioning of the Outsourcing Risk Forums and follow up on key tasks as appropriate.

- Cross functional teams during category management development and strategic sourcing events. This includes, but not limited to, Business stakeholders, Technology & Innovation, Legal, Compliance, Tax, Risk and Finance

**Role Specific Technical Competencies**:

- A Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, engineering, Economics or Business Administration.
- 7 years of working experience in IT procurement, technology and project management.
- Previous experience of working within the Financial Services or technology sector is an advantage.
- Knowledge in ERP systems such as SAP, Ariba and Microsoft Office Excel.
- Good working knowledge of contracts & familiar with legal agreements.
- Advanced commercial knowledge in technology procurement and project management.
- Advanced business management skills including stakeholder management, commercial judgment, and process improvement.
