Job Description

The role involves planning, co-ordination, and supervision of works to be undertaken for the redevelopment of SingPost’s facility. You will be required to be familiar with the operational and institutional processes to ensure that the project plans and the implementation are coherent. You will participate in the formulation of tender documents, evaluation, project implementation, design reviews related to civil & structural works, testing & commissioning (where applicable), project delivery and consultancy services.

You will also work with the appointed project manager ensure that works carried out by the appointed vendors are in accordance with the specified quality and safety standards.

The Senior Manager / Manager will play an important role in SingPost’s infrastructure and process re-engineering projects. Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- To work with internal stakeholders on process flow and mapping affecting development/redevelopment works- To coordinate flow of information between internal and external stakeholders- To work with appointed consultant to formulate tender documents, call and evaluate tenders related to development/redevelopment works.- Planning, co-ordinate and supervise development/redevelopment related works carried out by the appointed contractor for SingPost’s infrastructure project.- To work with appointed project manager and project designer on the design review related to development/redevelopment, testing & commissioning (where applicable) and timely project delivery.- To work with the appointed project manager to ensure that development/redevelopment works carried out by the appointed contractor are in accordance with the specified quality and safety standards.- To manage various stakeholders related to SingPost’s infrastructure project during project planning, implementation, and commissioning phases, across all aspects of work which interfaces with development/redevelopment works related to SingPost’s infrastructure project.- To craft and review new and existing SOPs (where required) that will improve processes and workflows.- To perform other duties and tasks as assigned (other than stated above) from time to time by management.
