We are a Singapore based food manufacturer and distributor.

Job Responsibilities

Lead and manage the admin & accounting team in overseeing the finance and accounting functions of the various business entities
Handle full spectrum of financial and accounting functions including Full sets of Accounts, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
Preparation of budget and financial forecasts and report on variances
Provide financial insights, analyse and drive business performance to achieve business and growth targets
Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing of accounts, year-end closing, management reporting and financial analysis; consolidate Group Accounting
Maintain effectiveness banking relationships including opening/ closing of bank accounts, preparation of fund transfer, control of cash withdrawal, monitoring of bank daily movements to meet credit requirements, etc. for all statutory and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance
Monitor company’s cash flow
Responsible for process improvement and implement operational best practices
Support internal personnel and liaise with external parties, including Auditors, Tax Agents, Corporate Secretaries, Bankers, Lawyers, etc.
Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, statutory and regulatory requirements
Manage monthly payroll, staff claim and ensure timely update of personnel record including leave records, probation, promotion and salary increment.

Other duties as assigned from time to time

Requirement

Degree in Accountancy or ACCA with CA/CPA qualifications
Minimum 5 years of relevant financial experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial position
Good knowledge of budgeting and financial analysis techniques.
Possess good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as ability to multi-tasks
Strong work ethics, good initiatives and with a process-improvement mindset
Hands-on and self-motivated team player
Ability to perform the core job duties accurately and to prioritize and deliver within tight deadlines
