**Roles & Responsibilities**
To assist the Event Team in the following aspects:
- Assist Event Manager in implementation of live or virtual events by providing support on logístical, administrative arrangements and on-site management
- Collaborate with event venues and service vendors to ensure smooth execution of work within deadline and budget
- Liaise with internal teams including Marketing, Operations and Content for event preparation and execution
- Follow up with event sponsors to ensure sponsorship requirements are met
- Ensuring invoices are submitted to finance in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
- Any ad hoc duties/projects as assigned by the supervisor
- Occasional travel for on-site support may be required
Qualifications:
- University degree in any discipline
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in event industry
- Self-starter and able to work independently and be productive with minimum supervision
- Ability to learn and understand ACAMS’s services and training offerings
- Excellent computing skills in office software including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc
- Fluency (speaking, reading and writing) in English and Chinese (Putonghua & Cantonese)
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Able to work outside office hours and under pressure
