**Project background**
Impactt conducts human rights assessments on behalf of its client in the energy and heavy industries sector throughout the year. The purpose of these assessments is to help companies assess the working conditions and management systems at the supplier level. For this particular project, we have been asked to conduct an assessment at a supplier site in Singapore and have identified the need for a Telugu-speaking worker interviewer to conduct worker interviews (remotely or in person - to be determined). The total level of effort is estimated at one day or less.
Impactt is looking for a worker interviewer who can complete the following tasks:
- Attend briefing calls with the Impactt team.
- Conduct remote or in person (to be determined) worker interviews of contracted workers in Telegu language.
- Attend debrief sessions with the Lead Assessor throughout the assessment.
- Support with logístical arrangements for the interviews, where required.
- Reporting findings from interviews in a pre-designed template.
**Timeline**
Impactt have an assessment that is due to be delivered on the week of 25th November 2024.
We expect that the worker interviewer activities will take place over the course of one day in total.
**Role title - Worker interviewer (Human/labour rights)**
**Preparation - **2-4 hours
**Worker interviewer activities - **8 hours (over 3 days)
**Reporting
- **Up to 2 hours

**General Experience**
- Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience delivering individual or group interviews (preferably working with vulnerable groups of people).
- Good understanding of national labour law.
- Exposure to international labour law.
- Experience in social compliance auditing or labour rights assessments/investigations.
**Specific Experience**
A good understanding of labour rights risks faced by subcontracted workers in international supply chains.
**Language**
- Good written and spoken English.
- Fluency in Telugu language.
**Right to work**
Must have a legal right to work in Singapore (or wherever the interviewer resides).

**Please note: This is not a full-time role.** Once you have successfully applied, you will join our pool of associate consultants and will also be considered for additional short-term and long-term assignments in the region as and when they come up. You will have the freedom to work on projects that interest you and receive a contract form for each project you support on.
