We are looking for a **Manager, Human Rights **to join our Human Rights team in Neste Asia Pacific (APAC).

**Your part in Neste journey**

In this role, your main responsibilities include
- Developing and implementing human rights due diligence regionally to ensure respect for human rights in Neste value chain in line with Neste Human Rights Principle
- Implementing human rights projects within PFAD and other renewable feedstock supply chains in the region to drive improvements in human rights in line with Neste Sustainability Vision
- Supporting in supplier engagement and auditing activities
- Working with external stakeholders and participating in sector-wide human rights initiative to increase leverage on human rights issues
- Gain both internal and external awareness on human rights
- Develop and implement programs for suppliers to increase commitment to human rights, with specific focus on living wages, recruitment fees and children’s access to education
- Effective cooperation with regional stakeholders and participation to sector-wide initiatives
- Support managing human rights risks in the entire value chain, with the focus on stakeholder-centric approaches

You will get suppliers committed to human rights due diligence and corrective actions, increasing external expectations and growing risk for bad publicity and brand reputation. Need to build cooperation with other teams. You will report to Head of Human Rights, dotted line to Head of Supplier Engagement, APAC

**Keys to success in this role**

The best combination of experiences, skills and background is
- _Relevant university studies within Sustainability, Law, Social Sciences, Political Sciences, International studies, Supply Chain Management and Social and Environmental Management. _
- _5-10 years of relevant experience in Human Rights practices. _
- _English, local languages (eg. Bahasa, Chinese) are an advantage _
- _Thorough understanding of international expectations and good practices in the area of business and human rights _
- _Experience from human rights work in supply chains in the APAC region _
- _Thorough understanding of key human rights issues in Neste supply chain (palm oil / PFAD / renewable feedstocks) _

- _Strong collaboration and communication skills _
- _Ability to build working relationships across different parts of the organization as well as with external stakeholders. _

The recruitment process will include interviews and possible aptitude assessment.

The person selected for the position must pass a health. A security clearance is obtained for the persons with their consent.
