**Introduction**
You will be member of our UD Trucks, Service Parts Operations & Logistics (SPOL) located in Singapore. Within SPOL Overseas Operations we manage a wide span of activities from Parts Procurement, inbound & outbound coordination, allocation of customers’ orders, shipment planning, invoicing, and documentation.
Transport Optimization Analyst is a key role that deal with a large variety of critical topics that affect positively or negatively UD Trucks profitability. Reporting to CDC Singapore Procurement & Market Support manager you will also support our teams in Thailand, South Africa, and Dubai regarding transport optimization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate, compare, and coordinate with freight forwarders for both inbound and outbound lanes keeping track of performance.
- Communicate and secure with cross-functional teams comprehension of what LSP is awarded.
- Lead monthly meetings with all respective freight forwarders to review performance and address topics for improvement.
- Be the liaison between our SPOL Overseas Operations and logistics and Transport purchasing and Logistics development functions.
- Manage database of forwarders agreements in a standardized format to enable benchmarking and analysis of freight costs.
- Perform cost analyses of transportation to identify opportunities for cost savings, lead time reduction and coordinate optimization activities.
- Monitor and collect shipment statistics for inbound and outbound flows to support overseas transparency of flows.
- Approve transport invoices and release for accounting department to proceed payment to transporters.
- Support our cross-functional teams to overcome transport-related issues and questions by leading discussions with our Transporters Key account managers.
- Keep close monitoring of worldwide market disruptions that can affect our transportation lanes in terms of cost and transport lead time.
- Maintain an yearly review of all inbound and outbound flows as continuous improvement by leading discussions with our cross-functional teams.
- Compliant to local and overseas regulatory topics.
- Undertake any tasks as may be directed by the superior from time to time not listed as main job responsibilities
- Maintain an outstanding workplace organization in terms of 5S

**Qualification & Skills**
- Graduated with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification
- 3-5 years of working experience in logistics.
- Understanding of transport mode and its impact on transport cost, Incoterms
- Working knowledge of compliance to local governance rules and regulations from a logístical perspective
- Problem-solving skills and know-how with analytical and organization skills.
- Expertise in Excel with macro programming, proficiency in MS Office suite
- Good verbal communication skills
- Requires both written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Computer proficient in Microsoft Windows-based software. Power BI is a plus
