**JOB SUMMARY**

This is an entry-level position within the Manufacturing department. This position requires little or no related experience and will work under close supervision of a qualified peer, Trainer or Supervisor. The Assembler I will become productive and proficient in basic manufacturing techniques and support activities such as bonding, assembly, cleaning, cutting and material preparation.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform the assigned assembly process in accordance with the specified requirements.
- Proficient in at least 1 process operation
- Ensure cleanliness of product and prevent contamination.
- Identify any nonconforming products during the assembly processes.
- Ensure that the nonconforming products are identified and segregated.
- Record the inspection results for any inspection conducted as and when required.
- Ensure that the production target and quality requirements are met.
- Maintain and record product identification and traceability.
- Use any safety features (machine guarding, interlocks, etc) in place at respective machine in use and under any circumstances should not bypass.
- Report immediately to direct supervisor if any safety features (machine guarding, interlocks, etc) are not functional or present some alteration.
- Perform product labeling and packaging operations.
- Perform production in accordance with the Manufacturing Process Instruction (MPI) and Lot History Record (LHR).
- Perform line clearance and ensure cleanliness of the CER.
- Maintain and comply with ISO13485, GMP and FDA regulations

**Education/Experience and Qualifications**
GCE “O” level or higher with 1 year assembly experience
