**Job description**
Operation Manager is responsible and accountable for the productivity, efficiency and financial performance of all the business units within the assigned venue. The incumbent is to comply and adhere to the operational and administrative functions as stipulated in this job description but not limited to. He/she is expected to maintain professional conduct in line with the company’s policies and procedures at all time. It is constitutive that the incumbent support or assists and work cohesively with the respective Collective Leadership at group level.
**4 ESSENTIAL CORE SKILLS**
**1. INTERPERSONAL SKILLS**
Interpersonal skills form an integral fabric of any business internal and external network. It is of paramount importance to be able to demonstrate the ability to interact or articulate with professional mannerism with all stakeholders in any given situation; from presenting business objectives to pacifying agitated customer.
**2. ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS**
Managing a whole property warrants juggling and multi-tasking day to day operational demands. This skill set will demonstrate the urgency to prioritize various tasks and manage timeline efficiently. Good time management and attention to detail will be an integral attribute to be at the forefront of any task.
**3. DECISION MAKING ABILITY**
In this fast pace industry, they are lots of decisions to be made that demands constant thinking on your feet. It ranges from “pop-up” issues that require lateral thinking decisions to short
- and long-term strategic executive decisions collectively with the team. The primary skills set in both situational decision making and strategic executive decisions require a sound analysis and market knowledge.
**4. BUSINESS SENSE (ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS)**
Administrative duties are amongst the primary tasks in a managerial job scope. It is a responsibility that intertwined or co-reliance with other day to day operation’s needs. A well-developed entrepreneurial skill will facilitate operational efficiency in outlet management. Optimize revenue generation, initiate, check and balance expenses and profitability.

**1. Consistency of quality, taste and presentation of food and beverage served**
All food and beverage are prepared and served in accordance and strictly adhere to standard operating procedures.
**2. Warmth and attentiveness of front-of-house team**
Provision of service sequences from welcoming, greeting, seating and all the way to farewell guests are in line with standard operating procedures and representing best practice of brand image.
**3. Service efficiency**
All services rendered are executed in timely manner with high attention to detail and guest’s satisfaction and expectations are met.
**4. Customer service**
Table visit is carried out to ensure guest’s satisfaction and feedback is gathered. Service recovery, if any, is handled in professional manner and in compliance company’s policies and procedures.
**5. An atmosphere that provides comfort, ambience that reflects concept and visibility of cleanliness**
Remain vigilant to detail to ensure guests’ comforts are met, ambience is appropriate, cleanliness and aesthetic look is maintained throughout.
