Production Supervisor

Roles & Responsibilities

Overall Job Purpose

Responsible for supervising, mentoring and coaching the team on how to operate and carry out first line Production Operation activities as directed by the relevant Production Superintendent on the FPSO process and utilities plant in a safe and efficient manner, being aware of safety of others, effective utilization of FPSO systems and processes related to FPSO operations, always ensuring compliance with company's Integrated Management System.

Core Responsibilities

• Supervise the team in carrying out first line Production activities for Topsides and Utilities as directed by relevant Production Superintendent on the FPSO.
• Supervise, mentor and coach team how to carry out first line Production activities for Topsides and Utilities as directed by relevant Production Superintendent on the FPSO.
• Carry out Preventative maintenance. Assist plant start-up after shutdowns. Ensure isolations as per PTW procedure, and planned Production inspection and maintenance are done in accordance with the CMMS system.
• Ensure that all Production maintenance related activities, all tests and inspection routines are carried out to the highest standards.
• Ensure proper records/history and reports are maintained, Review and update Job descriptions for planned Production as required.
• Be familiar , and lead by example with the safe operation of FPSO process plant and machinery. Ensure knowledge transfer of safety requirements including work permit systems, operational and emergency procedures, company policy and instructions are done properly.
• Monitor and control all process-related equipment via the DCS and other control panels during the shift.
• Provide production personnel and service contractors with adequate and suitable information as directed by the Production Superintendent.
• Understand all PSD, ESD and C&E (cause & effects) diagrams.
• Guarantee the Production team on shift follows Superintendent's instruction to optimize production and chemical injection rates.
• Supervise application of process related inhibits and overrides as per the Task Risk Assessment and Safety Override Certificates.
• Provide faithful information to client (if requested) and Modec managers with Production Superintendent awareness.
• Ensure Client procedures are duly known, observed and complied with by the Production team on shift.
• Carry out the operation of process plant and production related equipment, safely and efficiently, under the direction of the Production Superintendent.
• Ensure that the PTW and Isolation system is adhered to and well managed.
• Supervise Production team on shift and assist contractors, where needed.
• Demonstrate ownership of own training requirements and proactively arrange training to be done/renewed in time as per MODEC Integrated Management System.
• Effectively works on local personnel development plan as per management guidance.

HSSE: Act in compliance with the corporate HSSEQ Management System Policy, the MODEC Life Saving Rules, and the policies, guides, process standards and work instructions available in the Integrated Management System (IMS).

Act to promote the preservation of the environment, the health and occupational safety (personnel and their team), the safety of processes, and the preservation of assets in their scale of responsibility.

Emergency Plan: As per indication on the Training Matrix, Emergency Management Guide and Offshore Emergency Management, available in the Integrated Management System (IMS).

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma in Engineering with minium 5 years on offshore Process Operations / experience Offshore oil and gas / FPSO experience during Operations Phase and 3 years with team leading role.

Experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing and utility systems.

Experience on Permit-to-work system, isolations system and risk assessments.
