**Aon Early Careers Internship Programme, Singapore - Commercial Risk**

- Our internships are designed around different career opportunities. This programme is ideal for students who are in their penultimate year of university, but we also welcome first-year applicants.

**Programme highlights**

- Contributing to updating marketing and educational materials
- Supporting Business Development with research and data mining
- Participating in risk negotiation and engagement meetings with underwriters
- Developing an understanding of Aon United approach and how Transportation and Logistics fits within this
- Joining weekly communication meetings with global colleagues and understanding Aon's international capabilities and resources

Credit Solutions
- Learning the basics of Credit Solutions (Trade Credit, Political Risk and Surety)
- Learning the sales process from origination to execution
- Helping with the development of the Credit Solutions collateral and sales planning
- Claims
- Contribute to articulating value initiatives in Asia
- Support ongoing Claims Resolution Platform enhancements across Asia
- Support ongoing Enterprise Client related projects across Asia
- Contribute to Data & Analytics related projects across Asia
- Support claims target operating model initiatives in Asia
- Cyber Solutions
- Marketing, including development of collateral and thought leadership
- Data and Analytics, particularly regarding benchmarking and market sizing
- Underwriting submission development for key clients
- Financial Services & Professions Group
- To understand the basic fundamentals of Financial Lines insurance and broking workflow
- Support with clients’ profile and risk exposures
- Data management support
- Market research and data consolidation
- Compilation of collaterals for clients including presentation, reports and quotation slip
- Marine
- Assist with preparation of marketing material for shipping activities in Asia
- Assist with preparation and management of business development pipelines for prospects in Asia
- Assist with tender submissions for current clients and prospects
- Assist with liaising with network offices for clients and opportunities
- Natural Resources
- Helping to understand and review plans and processes for revenue growth / budgets
- Help the team as they connect with Aon network offices on sales pipelines and map a strategy (and its execution) for key opportunities
- Participate in the process where we are responding to new client enquiries and/or handling renewal of existing placements
- Liaise with other teams to coordinate the delivery of advisory or product line solutions for our clients
- Research, analysis and preparation for marketing and new initiatives eg. energy transition
- Risk Consulting Solutions
- Assist in fire protection report reviews for commercial/energy/power clients
- Assist in analysis of engineering fire protection standards
- Assist in collating safety improvement recommendations for clients
- Assist in review of risk for renewable energy projects
- Learn about fire protection standards (local/international)
- Transaction Solutions
- Assist in daily work associated with M&A and tax transactions
- Support the team with marketing materials and other business development initiatives
- Attend client meetings and presentations with senior members of the team
