Business Management (BM) is part of Wholesale Markets and Platforms business unit to drive the desired business growth from formulated strategy and business initiatives and develops business intelligence and insight to enhance our business value proposition.
**Responsibilities**:
**Learning Objectives**:
- Hands-on exposure to and experience with:
- Developing dashboards on critical business metrics for performance review
- End-to-end automated reporting solutions and data structure that meets business requirements
- Data analytics initiatives to create business intelligence and drive business outcome
- Interacting across different business units and stakeholders to create presentation decks for business unit and subsidiary meetings
- General understanding of Singapore Exchange, Wholesale Markets and Platforms business operation
- Participate in building dashboards for monitoring of business performance
- Support development and automation of business reporting solutions
- Maintenance of business dashboards, report statistics and metrics
- Assist in data analytics related projects and initiatives
- Coordinate the preparation of presentation decks with multiple stakeholders for business unit and subsidiary meetings Any other business support and activities as needed
**Knowledge & Skills Requirement**:
- Good communication skills (both written and spoken) in English
- Familiar and comfortable with Adobe, Advanced Excel, Powerpoint and Word
- Proficiency in SQL and Tableau is an advantage
- Knowledge of financial markets and products will be preferred
- Meticulous, responsible and can work independently
- Ability to multitask and deliver on tight deadlines
- Self-motivated team player with positive work attitude
- Interest and background in finance and data analytics
**Ideal Characteristics of Intern**:
The intern should preferably have background or interest in finance and business analytics. Major in computing, business, finance, accounting, economics and other relevant backgrounds. Experience in coding Macro experience will be a bonus.
The job entails much coordination so he/she must be comfortable communicating with various internal and external stakeholders in both verbal/written formats.
The intern should be a self-starter with positive working attitude and the ability to function independently as well as effectively as a team player.
