- Jun 2025] - Investment Group, POD - Artificial Intelligence (POD-AI)**

We are looking for a project intern to join the POD-AI in the first half of 2025.

Your key responsibilities include the following:

- Stay abreast of technical developments and combine that with a keen understanding of business logic from domain experts to evaluate the commercial impact of the fast-paced developments in the field of AI
- Support evaluation and due diligence of investment opportunities in early-stage companies through technology and product assessments
- Work closely with the team to support the preparation of presentations, memos and analysis
- Work with your teammates in an agile, start-up environment to solve diverse business and technical challenges

**Team Description - **POD-Artificial Intelligence (POD-AI)**

The AI Pod adopts a tech-centric investment approach to AI and aims to identify and capture opportunities in AI for Temasek and its broader portfolio ecosystem. It invests across 1) early-stage, AI-native companies, 2) AI-specialist VC funds, and 3) venture building, where it has set up a number of ventures, including Minden.ai, Aicadium and Resaro AI.

**Qualifications/Capabilities**
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a highly quantitative field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) with an interest in finance or investing
- Previous internship experience in a software product company or software consulting firm
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work well with diverse teams and deal with multiple stakeholders
- Self-starter with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and to work independently
- Experience working on Machine Learning/AI/Deep Learning projects
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and strategic/business-oriented thinking, particularly around the commercial impact of technological developments in AI
- Good presentation abilities, with excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to people from other fields
