**THK**MC provides assistance to the various groups in our community through more than 60 programmes and services for the **elderly and the sick**, **families**, **persons with disabilities**, and **children. **We help anyone in need with full respect to their race, colour, creed, language, culture and religion. DESIGNATION : Assistant Director, HR (Compensation & Benefits)
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a new Compensation and Benefits Manager to lead the team who is responsible to plan, develop and supports the execution of performance management programmes and implements compensation and benefits plans. He/She performs benchmarking for the organisation's compensation and benefits programmes with comparable organisations. He/she will also work closely with the Compensation and Benefit (C&B) team to ensure the timely payroll payment and processing. He will also collaborate with benefits partner. He is also responsible for ensuring that performance and compensation records in the systems are accurate and that regulatory guidelines are adhered to. He performs data analytics and shares insights reports with senior members of the team.
This role is suitable for a process-oriented person who likes a thrives in a team environment and is comfortable communicating with various stakeholders within and beyond the team. He/ She possesses an analytical mind and can derive insights from data, leveraging them to address issues and derive solutions to work challenges.
**Responsibilities**:
**Performance Management**
- Lead the collation and analysis of cluster-wide annual Total Performance Management (TPM) results and preparation for Senior Management review an moderation
- Manage annual performance appraisal process to ensure employee & manager sign off all the goal agreement performance appraisal
**Compensation**
- Lead and manage C&B projects from end-to-end, including conceptualisation, simulations, implementation strategies, communications and change management
- Track compensation and benefits benchmarking data
- Drive annual budget planning and submission
- Plan, review and prepare manpower budget assumptions and projections for submission to Finance
- Design compensation packages and bonus programs that align with the company’s strategic plan
- Ensure salaries and benefits comply with the current legislation about human rights and pay equity
- Identify trends and implement new practices to engage and motivate employees
- Participate compensation and benefit processes including appraisals to support salary increases, promotions and bonus payments and assist in annual salary structures review
- Manage annual compensation projects and initiatives (e.g. bonus calculation, salary reviews, budgeting)
- Keep track of prevailing pay rates and make sure we offer competitive compensation plans
- Review C&B and HRIS process regularly to ensure process efficiencies and compliance
- Lead all HR related systems including HRIS to ensure data accuracy and managed in accordance to respective requirements of the company
- Ensure that the full spectrum of Payroll processing that is in-compliance with Company policies and statutory requirements
- Work with Internal and external auditor on all HR audits
- Work together closely with HR Ops team on any policy change/deviation request to understand institutional needs and find solutions taking into consideration the organisation-wide impact
- Review/propose recommendations and follow through to get necessary approvals from Senior Management
- Lead and manage C&B projects from end-to-end, including conceptualisation, simulations, implementation strategies, communications and change management
- Research and analyse information on compensation statistics, market sentiments and economic indicators to support C&B strategies and initiatives
**Benefit**
- Lead annual group insurance renewal and submission, working closely with insurance broker
- Work with broker to analyse trends and highlight areas of concern to Management e.g. claims experience, work injury trends etc
- Work with site HR to ensure accurate reporting of data required for insurance renewal
- Participate and implement staff benefits programmes
QUALIFICATIONS
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management or any related discipline
- Preferably with 10 years of work experience working as a C&B specialist
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Frontier software will be an advantage
- Good business and people acumen with the ability to frame HR initiatives and expertise in a business context
- Effective team player
