As a Manager in the Programmes Implementation & Management department, you will be part of a dynamic team that implements, manage, and review a suite of national programmes that will enhance the employability and support the transformation of the local workforce to meet ongoing economic challenges.

**Responsibilities**
As a Manager in the Programmes Implementation & Management department, you will be part of a dynamic team that implements, manage, and review a suite of national programmes that will enhance the employability and support the transformation of the local workforce to meet ongoing economic challenges.

Your role is integral in the day to day running of programme operations, including but not limited to:

- Prepare and present programme reports and updates to Management
- Draft budget proposal for programme variation and/or renewal
- Engage and provide guidance to programme partners to ensure that they are implementing the programme according to our standards
- Review operational processes with programme partners, including identifying and mitigating risks, to ensure continuous improvement in programme design and take-up
- Handle appeal cases and ensure timely follow through, from the point of assessing the case’s merits and putting up recommendations for Management’s approval, to closing cases with appellants
- Undertake investigations for whistle-blowing and feedback cases to determine if enforcement, remedial or any other appropriate action is required, based on WSG’s penalty and compliance framework
- Prepare supporting documents required for audit checks, and follow up on audit queries, observations and recommendations
- Handle personal identifiable data according to government data security guidelines

**Requirements**:
**Knowledge/Skills**
Possess understanding of:

- Labour market information and outlook
- Employment issues and challenges for different workforce segments (e.g., PMET, Rank-and-file, Long-Term Unemployed)
- WSG’s programmes and services

**Desired skills include**:

- Effective Communication skills - Possess business writing skills and good presentation skills; able to interact with stakeholders such as employers, jobseekers, and programme partners
- Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions or approaches to problems
- Prior experience in programme implementation/management work would be advantageous

**Abilities / Aptitudes**:

- Meticulous - Have an eye for detail and enjoy process-driven tasks
- Responsible - See through tasks assigned and escalate at appropriate juncture
- Resourceful - Able to obtain and synthesise information from various sources to address and resolve challenges independently, or rally fellow co-worker(s) as required
- Agile - Adaptable and flexible to meet with last minute or unexpected changes
