**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation and cooking in an efficient and smooth food service operation
- Ensure that all food qualities and standards are consistent with company’s production Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure all food are well prepared as per recipe and up to the implemented standards to minimize ingredient and food wastages.
- Comply with food safety, cleanliness and NEA hygiene requirements and practices.
- Conduct daily stock check and monitor stocks of ingredients
- Testing of new recipes and recommend new ingredients
- Introduce new dishes and menus as and when necessary
- Train new cooks & assistant cooks when situation arises
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Chinese culinary or equivalent
- Knowledge of Chinese food and culture and overall basic food and beverage
- Required to cook for catering functions when needed
- Enjoy cooking and willing to learn
- Cheerful and self-motivated with positive working attitude
- Self-driven and good team player
- High standard of personal hygiene
