This person is responsible for establishing strategic business development initiatives that drive business growth through product expansion, new technologies or services, follow-on products or industries, partnerships, and alliances. Develops and/or manages positive ongoing relationships between the organization and customers in strategic markets by cultivating relationships. Manages revenue goals for the given account/client.

**Essential functions**:

- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify and engage with potential new business opportunities on growing X10 IOT Satcom solutions.
- Proactively identify and engage with new business prospects to grow X10’s Ground Station as a Service (GSaaS) business.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities with both existing and emerging new satellite prospects.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the company's value proposition and in-space servicing solutions.
- Communicates within and outside of the organization to influence leadership to accept new practices, approaches, and concepts. Requires ability to communicate and influence leadership regarding matters of substantial importance to the function or business area and frequently briefings with executive team.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company to maintain a strong presence in the IOT/Satcom community.
- Build systems and frameworks for tracking business development activities and performance metrics.
- Recommends and implements strategies and develops operational plans/goals that directly impact the mid
- to long-term function or business area achievements.
- Responsible for account management and relationships with existing customers.
- Understand the IOT/Satcom community budgets and trends, understand current and future domestic market space, understand competitor's strategies and strengths; be able to research new markets and identify potential customers.
- Flexibility to travel, up to 70% of regional travel as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree with a combination of business and technical background is strongly desired.
- Proven track record of developing and executing growth strategies and establishing strategic partnerships within the Satcom/Technology industry.
- Strong understanding of satellite/IOT/M2M technologies, and the space industry landscape.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work independently and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Experience with senior level management and leadership skills to lead cross-department project teams and manage across the function.
- Ability to lead and develop relationships with geographically dispersed people, esp. SEA and Greater China region.
- Requires strong interpersonal communication skills - Spoken and written skills in English and Mandarin.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
