Possessing deep technical knowledge and experience in one or more of the following:

As one of the key contacts between Global HQ (GHQ) in Japan, and AP subsidiaries, the Business Architect is self-motivated and capable of promptly and effectively monitor, coordinate and communicate strategic objectives. The Business Architect collaborates with various stakeholders to facilitate communication and guide change initiatives, aiming to enhance organizational agility and productivity.

**KEY TASKS**:
**1.Develop Business Architecture Strategy**
- Analyse various subsidiaries and its business scenarios and motivations.
- Create a structured approach to capture critical value streams of the organisation.

**2.Coordinate deployment of Group IT strategies / AP regional activities**
- Serve as one of the focal points of contact between Global HQ (GHQ) and AP subsidiaries, maintaining close communications among these groups. Deft in balancing the conflicting demands of global, regional and local entities.
- Identify problems in communications among AP subsidiaries and GHQ IT personnel. Manage IT projects from launch to implementation and provide support until the process is established. Assist different stakeholders to understand each other’s perspectives, and situations to contribute to shaping a better and realistic strategy.

**3.Support digital transformation (DX) initiates in the AP region**
- Coordinate and/or collaborate with business representatives in AP subsidiaries to accelerate DX initiatives.

**4.Coordinate GHQ driven surveys in the AP region**
- Facilitate and ensure required information from AP subsidiaries are provided on time. Support the evaluation of the data to ensure correct conclusions are reached. Support IT organizations in making business case to GHQ on IT investments.
- Guide IT organization or Business Division in ensuring key indices, such as cost estimates, project milestones, ROI, are captured in business cases.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Degree or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project management.
- Hands-on experience in all phases of Business DX projects implementation from start to end; (i.e., Problem definition/discovery -> Planning-> Requirement/Initial Design -> Development -> Operation).
- Possess experience in creating documents such as business process design, business requirement definition, external/internal design documents, and UAT for IT projects.
- Experienced in providing business consulting to business divisions.
- Possess ITIL Foundation certification.
- Effective in a variety of communication settings, 1-on-1, small and large groups, among diverse styles and position levels.
- Enjoys working with data, analysis, and the development of hypothesis and solutioning.
