**Role Overview**:
This role is a critical HR position, emphasizing Singapore operations and HRBP responsibilities and driving compensation and benefits initiatives across the APAC region. Based in Singapore, the APAC HQ for Midea, the role ensures effective workforce management, HR processes, and employee engagement aligned with best practices. The position also plays a pivotal role in regional HR strategy, talent management, and organizational development.

**Work Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm**

**Office Location: 158 Cecil Street**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Singapore Operations**:

- Serve as the primary HRBP for Singapore operations, ensuring seamless workforce planning, employee relations, and HR initiatives tailored to the needs of the APAC HQ.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle for Singapore, including recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and offboarding.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders in Singapore to align HR strategies with business objectives and drive operational excellence.

**Compensation and Benefits (APAC)**:

- Lead the annual compensation and bonus processes for APAC, coordinating with Global HR to consolidate, review, and analyze regional submissions.
- Provide insights and recommendations on compensation structures, benefits programs, and market competitiveness to support talent retention and attraction.
- Utilize HR data, market intelligence, and survey results to inform decision-making and enhance compensation and benefits strategies.
- Salary benchmarking and knowledge of salary strategies and compensation in APAC region is advantageous.

**Organizational Development**:

- Support initiatives in talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement to foster a high-performing and inclusive workplace culture.
- Partner with senior leaders to drive HR strategies that align with business goals and enhance organizational effectiveness.

**The Global Mobility**:

- Manages international assignments and relocations, ensuring compliance with local and international laws.
- The role involves supporting of implementing global mobility policies from HQ, managing expatriate compensation and benefits, and maintaining accurate records.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 2-3 years of regional HR business partnering experience covering one or more APAC countries, with a minimum of 7-8 years of overall HR experience in a dynamic, fast-paced MNC environment.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and knowledge of local (Singapore) employment laws.
- Ability to speak, read, and write Chinese due to frequent collaborations with native Chinese counterparts from the Global HQ.
- Team player with a self-driven, resourceful, and independent mindset; prepared to be operationally hands-on when necessary.
- Strong sense of urgency, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent writing, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex, strategic ideas in a convincing and inspiring manner.
- Ability to start work within short notice is highly advantageous.
