Job Title: Market Development Manager
Location: Singapore preferred; other locations in Asia considered. Relocation arrangements available.
Reports To: Director, Market Development APAC

About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive market development plan for Asia focusing on North Asia, aligning with PacBio's global strategies and objectives.
- Establish and manage strategic collaborations and partnerships in Asia focusing on North Asia to accelerate market adoption of PacBio's technologies.
- Serve as the scientific expert and strategic partner to the local commercial teams, driving growth strategies and influencing key decision-makers in the genomics field.
- Maintain and update the market model for Asia focusing on North Asia, forecasting revenue impact and customer growth.
- Identify and assess partnership opportunities, removing barriers and facilitating the adoption of PacBio technology by strategic programs in the region.
- Conduct competitive and market analysis, providing insight and direction for the region's growth.
- Reinforce and support the local commercial teams, ensuring effective communication and strategy implementation.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in the life sciences sector.
- Deep knowledge of genomics technologies and market dynamics in Asia focusing on North Asia.
- Proven track record in building strategic relationships and influencing in a complex stakeholder environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to engage with key stakeholders and attend relevant events.
You may be required from time to time to visit and work at PacBio locations and for such times as the Company considers necessary for the proper performance of your duties.
