Job summary

AWS Marketplace is fundamentally changing how software, data and services are discovered, procured and deployed and we are looking for talented individuals to join the AWS Marketplace team based in Singapore to engage with AWS Marketplace new and prospective customers in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ).

AWSMP Demand Gen is a critical function within the lead and demand generation process, with its mission to profile, nurture and qualify leads generated from various events, campaigns and activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Build a stronger AWS Marketplace leads database by tele-profiling and researching existing AWS leads to create a detailed view of the customer’s need for cloud technology and the sales opportunity.
- Nurture leads with information/campaigns to increase their understanding of AWS services and unique differentiators with relevant customer use cases.
- Move leads from warm or little interest to active interest; education to consideration.
- Through nurture efforts, create higher value leads resulting in higher conversion rates.
- Work closely with stakeholders to achieve campaign goals.
- Become familiar with our Marketplace seller community and act as a point of contact to our partner sales reps and our AWS sales team during joint prospecting efforts.
- Work closely with our Marketplace seller community to nurture jointly captured leads and perform occasional call blitzes to identify new meetings and opportunities.
- A technical background in engineering, computer science or MIS is a plus.
- Record of success in an outbound sales or prospecting role in B2B environments, preferably in a solution-sales/ technology-related environment.
- Experience working with Independent Software Vendors and/or Consulting Partners to build end-customer solutions
- Additional Asian language fluency is an advantage
