About the Role
This role supports Head of Markets Strategy & Capital Management in executing pathways for Markets Strategy across revenue, cost and well-managed agendas. It will aid and assist in the running of the MD Office in processes like planning, monitoring, investment asks, strategic delivery. It will also work on stronger connectivity with the Markets teams through BAU communications support aimed the embedding our people and culture priorities. A secondary focus will be in work with stakeholders in implementing pathways for key strategic priorities including the FX business growth beyond the current plans.

What will your day look like?
**As a Director, Strategy, you will**:
Develop strong market understanding of Markets Strategy, and aid in execution and monitoring of our strategic delivery.
Proactively understand market, client requirements and competitor positioning, develop themes to uplift Markets Revenue and RoE.
Support the delivery of key sales aspects of the Global Markets strategy.
Alignment and adherence with Global Markets governance policies, processes and standards and with external regulatory requirements.
Improve Risk Awareness & Risk Culture.
Aid in monitoring and messaging project delivery, investment spend.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Strong background and extensive knowledge of Global Markets business, strategic execution, product understanding and/ or broad-based growth strategy delivery.
Experience in dealing with internal and external clients and negotiating with clients and stakeholders at all seniority levels.
Strong customer focus and ability to drive results.
Experience with working in a team across multiple geographies and time zones is required.
Strong handle of data and analytics, tracking of customer solutions, revenues and feedback.
Extensive knowledge of regulatory framework and requirements in the countries ANZ Global Markets operates in.
Experience in FX is an added advantage.
