Job Description:
**The key duties and responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to)**:

- Reporting to RAN manager
- Responsible in designing, planning, analysing and optimizing RAN network
- Develop wireless network infrastructures and make recommendations on systems enhancements
- Responsible for development of product validation, feature validation, systems and performance analysis, operator review sessions for RAN products focusing on Air interface, E2E performance, and call processing
- Responsible in designing RAN and wireless backhaul solution.
- Implementation of confirmed RAN and wireless backhaul solutions.
- Performing integration of wireless base stations and other RAN related equipment.
- Providing technical support for fault rectification.
- Preparing RAN integration scripts.
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on RAN network.
- Responsible to perform UE testing on pre-launch devices and new RAN equipment to verify functionality and network compatibility.
- Prepare test cases for UE and RAN equipment testing.
- Liaising with vendors to resolve technical issues that arise during testing phase.
- Managing RAN equipment ordering initiated by project team and verify all hardware & software are complete.
- Periodically monitor for potential fibre issues and managing fibre swap activity to prevent outage.
- Managing inventory of spare parts to ensure mínimal downtime and arrange for return & repair of faulty equipment to vendor.
- Responsible in setting installation standards, safety standards and technical solutions for all RAN deployment in the network.
- Review and approve all installation works done by contractor to ensure good installation quality.
- Manage and plan corrective maintenance work process to ensure RAN network is healthy.
- Involve in safety committee as Risk Manager for Networking Team.
- Participate in certification requirements for Bizsafe Level 3, ISMS and BCMS.
- Participate in the creation and administration of business process recovery/Bizsafe and management incident response plans.
- Development of backup or recovery plans for critical business functions.
- Bachelor Degree in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering or Computer Science
- 2 years and more experience in wireless telecommunication network industry
- Strong knowledge in 5G/LTE/Wi-Fi protocol, IP networking, radio signalling, air interface, call processing technologies and network architecture specifically focused on Radio Access Network
- Experience with RAN network design, commissioning and integration, and system testing activities such as feature validation, test description documentation, parameter optimization, performance analysis, QoS implementation, and interoperability test strategy
- Experience in software upgrade, NMS systems and managing network elements
- Understanding of IoT technologies including LTE-M and NB-IoT
- Understanding with 3GPP RAN and core system, ongoing 3GPP Release activities is beneficial
- Advance knowledge of fault dianosis, analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Good interpersonal, communications and presentation skills
- Ability to liaise with vendors, partners, and external parties to achieve the business requirements and plans
