Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled RAN Engineer with hands-on experience in Telecom Radio Access Network (RAN) technologies. The candidate will be responsible for planning, integration, optimization, and troubleshooting of RAN nodes to ensure high network performance and quality of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform installation, configuration, integration, and commissioning of RAN nodes (BTS, eNodeB, gNodeB).
  • Support network rollout, swap, and upgrade projects for 2G/3G/4G/5G.
  • Conduct parameter audit, tuning, and performance optimization to improve KPIs (throughput, latency, drop calls, handover success rate).
  • Perform troubleshooting, fault management, and root cause analysis of RAN-related issues.
  • Ensure interoperability testing (IOT) and smooth integration with core and transmission networks.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, site acceptance tests (SAT), and as-built reports.
  • Support customer acceptance and field trials for new features and software releases.
  • Collaborate with RF engineers, transmission engineers, and NOC teams for end-to-end network performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related Engineering field.
  • Strong knowledge of RAN products (AirScale, Flexi, WNG, Qcell, etc.).
  • Proficiency in 2G/3G/4G/5G RAN architecture, protocols, and interfaces (S1, X2, NG, etc.).
  • Experience in OSS tools, NetAct, U2000, TEMS, Actix, or similar monitoring/optimization tools.
  • Good understanding of RF principles, KPIs, and drive test analysis.
  • Hands-on experience in software upgrades, license management, and feature activation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a multi-vendor, multicultural team environment.

Addtional Cerrtifications(If any following):

  • Nokia RAN certifications (e.g., Huawei, Nokia LTE/5G Certified Engineer) is a plus.
  • Experience in VoLTE, Massive MIMO, Carrier Aggregation, and 5G NR technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based RAN and virtualization (vRAN, O-RAN).
