**What the role is**
- A new chapter for Singapore Sports Hub Sport Singapore is setting up a new corporate entity to manage and operate the business and operations of the Sport Hub. We believe that this will unlock greater potential by allowing closer integration of the Sport Hub facilities with other facilities within the Kallang Alive precinct, expanding the breadth and quality of world-class international events, and driving more community activities at the venue. We also intend to make the Sports Hub more accessible to the broader community in Singapore, in terms of sports, lifestyle, entertainment and social uses, whilst maintaining its commercial sustainability. Position Overview: We are seeking an exceptional talent for the role of Head - Marketing to drive our brand transformation. This position shall have overall strategic overview across the full marketing scope for the Singapore Sports Hub. Leading a team of marketing professionals, this position seeks to bring marketing & communication strategies to life inclusive of advertising, public & promotional communication plans for events and community activities; media buying and creative development.
**What you will be working on**
- Roles & Responsibilities - Reporting to the Group Head - Marketing, Communications & Commercial, this position shall be responsible for positioning & promoting Sports Hub locally, regionally and internationally as a “Sports, Entertainment, Leisure & Lifestyle
- (SELL) destination - delivered and executed through the annual marketing & activities plans and a strong understanding of consumer segmentation insights - Responsible for the creation of marketing communication plans, whether in support of promoter event/show or on behalf of Sports Hub community activities, with due consideration of differing KPIs (Commercial vs Grassroots) - Lead and manage development of marketing campaigns and materials including: marketing and sales brochure, presentations, social media presence/ initiatives, video, press releases and related media efforts, company website, trade shows and corporate events. - Responsible for overall advertising plan, from planning, purchase, scheduling and creative development for shows, events and community activities happening at Sports Hub - Responsible for department budget development and management - Build a vibrant and unified Sports Hub brand through that reflects Sports Hub's vision and positioning. By developing a strong and compelling brand system with clear brand usage guidelines and disseminating the brand system consistently to all consortium partners across traditional and new media - Responsible for approval of marketing and promotional materials submitted by sponsors as part of their sponsorship entitlement. Additionally, in collaboration with Contracts & Compliance team, play the gatekeeper role in reviewing Sponsor requests (new or existing entitlements) to ensure it is in compliant with the contract terms, whether it is part of contractual entitlements or potential ambush marketing activities - Work closely with stakeholders to deliver strong communications program for all of Sports Hub product offerings - Liaise with cross departments for joint marketing initiatives - Ensures that company initiatives and policies are ongoing and completed in a timely fashion, including but not limited to important initiatives like monthly reports and submissions are kept at the forefront - Attract and retain the best staff and build staff capacity and capabilities. Mentoring and development of staff within the department, ensuring that staff is properly developed and taught the specifics of the project.
