You will champion the manpower, skills and workforce transformation needs of enterprises in the Financial Services sector and/or other sector(s) you may be assigned to handle. You will also manage WSG manpower programmes that equip and reskill workers for in-demand and emerging jobs in your assigned sector(s).
**Responsibilities**:
**Enable industry and enterprise capabilities to facilitate workers’ employability**
- Identify and assess key industry, manpower challenges and skills needs
- Engage new companies and existing strategic accounts to diagnose gaps and identify opportunities
- Recommend appropriate strategic human capital interventions based on industry or enterprises’ business and manpower needs
- Support the Industry Transformation Map (ITM) and the Jobs Transformation Map for the assigned sector(s), particularly the Jobs and Skills pillar by developing and driving initiatives that equip and reskill Singaporeans for in-demand and emerging jobs
**Forge impactful partnerships and collaborations to uplift industry and enterprise capabilities**
- Establish and maintain impactful relationships with strategic partners and stakeholders
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders including government agencies, associations, tripartite partners, programme partners to develop and implement relevant manpower interventions to address industry manpower issues
- Consult with employers to promote adoption of WSG programmes and progressive human resource practices to address their manpower needs
**Manage and enhance programmes and processes to achieve positive user experience and outcomes**
- Track programmes’ progress and analyse industry related information to evaluate and make recommendations for management decision making
- Plan and review budget requirements and ensure compliance to policies and processes
- Organise or support outreach and marketing events such as career events and industry engagements to generate leads
- Test or trial innovative ideas through pilots with partners and companies
**Requirements**:
**Knowledge/Skills**
- At least two years of working experience is preferred, although fresh university graduates who possess maturity, strong communication and interpersonal skills will be considered
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Good persuasive and negotiation skills
- Adept in stakeholder engagement and relationship building
- Ability to synthesise opinions and data for decision making and programme monitoring
- Aware of various government initiatives related to manpower and training would be advantageous
- Relevant work experience in industry engagement, account/ project management and/or consultancy roles
