**Title**: Retail Director (Singapore & Malaysia)

**The Opportunity**:
Our client is a Fashion retailer with an established aspirational brand seeking a dynamic retail professional with an entrepreneurial growth mindset and regional multi-store retail operations experience gained from the Fashion & Lifestyle sector in South-East Asia.

**The Role**:
The incumbent will lead over 50 POS of direct store operations managing a hierarchy of area supervisors and direct reporting retailer managers across Singapore and Malaysia

Accountable for all store performance including improving operating efficiency, customer service excellence while identify growth network opportunities and in-store sales and margin improvements according to company targets and KPIs

Provide Support through ability to present analysis, sales tactics, retail insights and general constructive input.

Develop best-in-class operations team to support company long-term growth

Provide leadership in the execution of store openings, store relocations, remodels and if necessary, store closures, to reinforce and support company profitability

Build and foster a positive, engaging selling culture of high performers

Deliver timely communication through regular management and team meetings

Build a series of calendared events that enhance the product assortment and deliver a unique and compelling shopping experience

Establish and maintain policies and procedures to maximize store efficiencies while ensuring proper internal controls

Support periodic forecasting, budgeting and long-term strategic planning of inventory etc.

Act as the front-end interface for all in-store initiatives (including merchandising, local marketing, planning and budgeting, logistics, back office, IT, Human Resources)

Provide support in negotiation with property owners, third party vendors, etc.
