**RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Senior Executive is responsible to support all aspects of the daily operations and office administration, in compliance with local laws and regulations. The role will report to the Director, Overseas Centre Bangkok (OCB). Based in Bangkok, the Senior Executive will:

- Manage the operations of the office.
- Be responsible for general office administration, and maintaining a professional, safe and welcoming workplace.
- Manage a range of administrative support functions such as preparation of reports and meeting notes, organising meetings and supporting event logistics.
- Work with the University’s Schools, Offices, Centres and Institutes and in-country professional services vendors to align operational processes and deliverables.
- Have independent management of accounts payable, including but not limited to payments and expenditures, vendor management, budget tracking, procurement, in compliance with SMU financial policies and procedures.
- Perform proper documentation for audit and governance.
- Deliver professional and high-quality service experience to customers (visiting colleagues, students, organisations, associations, partners, etc.).
- Provide information in a timely manner pertaining to our programmes, services and processes to support the University’s interests in Thailand.
- Attend to customers feedback and address their challenges in a professional manner, and follow through to resolution with the respective stakeholders.
- Independently organize and manage OCB events as well as events run in collaboration with other SMU departments.
- Support the OCB launch and the post-launch action plan.
- Support Director in calendar management and on matters related to admin and operations.
- Assist other tasks assigned by OCB Director.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
- Excellent administration and communications skills are necessary.
- Fluent in English and able to communicate in Thai.
