Our client is a global leader in providing specialist software solutions to buyside institutions and addressing their core business needs. They are currently seeking a seasoned Business Development professional to further grow their services in the APAC region.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Own and lead the business development responsibilities for the region targeting buy-side clients across APAC region.
- Act as the regional leader liaising with CXOs from targeted clients.
- Lead strategic revenue generation opportunities across to position the firm’s service offerings.
- Manage the entire sales process including prospecting, building sales pipelines, cross-selling, negotiation and closing.
- Cultivate strong relations with clients, understand their needs and successfully deliver solutions.
- Stay abreast of current industry trends, competitors, and current/new company products and services.
**Role requirements**:
- At least 8 years of sales experience ideally in Software Solutions, Fintech, SaaS within Financial Services.
- Strong network of buyside clients is required.
- A true “hunter” mentality who strives for the close.
- Proven track record of exceeding or achieving high individual targets.
- Strong commercial and business acumen.
- Excellent communication, relationship building and networking skills.
- Strong influencing, negotiation, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
