**ABOUT HOPE INITIATIVE ALLIANCE**
Hope Initiative Alliance (HIA) is a registered charity in Singapore with Institution of a Public Character (IPC) status. HIA collaborates with over 100 social service organisations, civil society organisations, corporations, and government agencies to provide holistic care to vulnerable communities, including children and youths from lower-income families, families living in rental housing, homeless individuals, migrant workers, and migrant domestic workers.
The Alphabet Project (TAP) is a movement of Hope Initiative Alliance that offers holistic care for children aged 4 to 12 from less privileged families. This includes literacy programmes, sports, enrichment, recreation activities, welfare support for families, and other social engagements.

**Working Hours**:
9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday to Friday
- (Some other evenings and weekends may be required during meetings and events)**Summary of Job Scope**
The TAP Programme Executive will play a key role in supporting the design, coordination, and impact tracking of TAP’s ongoing programmes for children and families from low-income backgrounds. These include weekly reading clubs, structured literacy and academic programmes, family welfare support, and events for engagement and outreach. The Executive will ensure smooth coordination with internal and external partners, maintain an organised beneficiary database, and uphold high standards of accountability, inclusion and programme delivery.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Programme Development and Execution**:
- Coordinate and execute TAP’s weekly reading clubs, literacy and academic programmes, family welfare initiatives, and events for community engagement and outreach.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify community needs and conceptualise charitable programmes that address those needs.
- Create detailed programme plans, outlining goals, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Manage programme budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the impact and effectiveness of charitable programmes.
- Regularly collect and analyse data to measure programme outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
**Community Outreach and Engagement**:
- Build relationships with the marginalised community to understand their needs and offer support where needed.
- Develop and lead programs that address the practical needs of individuals in the community.
- Work alongside with organization staff to support and enhance the community’s overall well-being.
**Volunteer Management**:
- Help develop and implement volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention strategies.
- Oversee volunteer scheduling and ensure proper allocation of tasks to meet organizational needs.
- Provide ongoing support, guidance, and recognition to volunteers.
- Ensure effective communication between volunteers and the organization.
- Identify opportunities to improve volunteer experience and contribute to organizational growth.
- Promote the organization's mission, values, and objectives in community outreach and volunteer recruitment.
**Reporting and Communication**:
- Maintain a detailed and up-to-date database of beneficiaries, including attendance, participation history, and needs assessment
- Monitor and report on volunteer, beneficiaries and partners’ participation, feedback, and satisfaction levels.
- Provide regular updates to the senior leadership team on program performance and needs.
- Draft short reports for newsletters and other communications to keep management, volunteers and donors informed and engaged.

**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Degree/Diploma in Social Work, Public Administration, Events Organising or a related field with at least 3 years of working experience.
- Proven experience in programme coordination, social services, or community development.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Previous experience in volunteer coordination or event management is a plus.
- Passion to make a meaningful impact on the organization and community.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
