**Job Description**:
Role Purpose:
Responsible for the overall management of portfolio for Lifecycle Services in the region. Set the strategic vision and lead the deployment of the Portfolio offerings based on market data and feedback from customers, sales and other key internal stakeholders. Works as regional liaison in close collaboration with HQ Portfolio and capability teams, as well as Regional Marketing organization to identify and bridge the portfolio gaps; Lead and support portfolio launches for Lifecycle Services in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with sales team and customers to identify the customer requirements, portfolio gaps and specific needs of the region; Communicate and coordinate with the global portfolio team for region specific needs as appropriate.- Align and bring consistency to the Lifecycle services portfolio for the region to increase Business results.- Lead and support new portfolio launches in the region working with the global portfolio team- Responsible to lead the Lifecycle Services BSRs in the region in alignment with global and regional GSM BSRs.- Operationalize the BSR and track progress working in conjunction with the Sub-regional BU managers.- Provide guidance during the AOP process in accordance with the BSR goals.- Establish solid communication with Sales, Business Manager, Marketing and Global Portfolio teams to analyze competition, identify gaps, recommend new offerings and suggest refinements for aggressive business growth.- Influences and collaborates with the Sales team, Channels, Customers and other related functions for success of the business.- Develop, track and report key performance indicators for specific portfolio offerings including but not limited to funnel activity, orders, revenue, and market conditions.- Collaborate with Regional Delivery Manager to understand the operational challenges that may hinder delivery excellence and work on bridging gaps.- Enable Sales and Channels on the value proposition of our Lifecycle offerings through specific training and marketing.- Shows agility when navigating the organization to leverage resources and collaborate with other businesses
Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education
Skills, Knowledge- Excellent commercial, technical and collaboration skills are required to successfully drive Portfolio implementation and evaluation over a multi-year planning period.- Extensive knowledge of the regional market trends/needs, customer / channel requirements.- Knowledge of technology, financials, contracts and risk management to effectively determine the business vision, strategy and execution plan- Proven Leadership skills to motivate and influence direct and indirect reports to embrace new concepts / solutions- Self-motivated and self-managed towards objectives.- Previous experience working / leading a large, multi-disciplinary regional team.- Proven ability to manage multiple internal and external partner relationships while achieving targeted outcomes- Experience in Industrial automation product offerings.- Ability to work in a matrix organization with multiple lines of reports fostering a collaborative team environment.
Education and Experience- Bachelor’s degree in business or Engineering discipline- Minimally 5 years of experience in leadership positions- Experience in implementing solutions & services projects as well previous participation on technical team roles- Experience dealing with Industrial Services and System offerings. Distributor relationship is an added advantage- Services and Systems Industry knowledge - 5 years minimum- A minimum of five (5) years of solid experience in the Solutions and Services Business- Fluent in English- Availability to travel frequently - 30% to 40% based on local and global business dynamics- Open to adjust to changing schedules and agendas;- Available for all pressing business matters that require his/her presence.
