
Building & Facilities Executive

This role is to oversee the maintenance and servicing of the church building and facilities. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Management of church building and facilities, including physical and IT infrastructure, security system, utilities and carpark gantry system
- Ensuring compliance with building regulatory and safety requirements, including fire safety
- Participating in the Church Building Committee, attending meetings and liaising with committee members
- Safekeeping of building records, preparing proposals, plan and tenders for building improvement projects
- Monitoring regular servicing and maintenance of facilities and equipment, arranging and assisting with ad hoc repairs
- Procurement and contract management with contractors, vendors and service providers
- Assisting with preparations, cleaning and packing up related to booking of church facilities
- Assisting with management of tenants, including tenant account management and other operational matters
- Supervising of maintenance and cleaning staff
**Requirements**:
- Education: minimum Diploma holder in a related area (building/facilities management)
- 3 years of working experience, prior experience in related roles in building and facilities management will be viewed favourably
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, able to meet deadlines
- Positive work attitude, able to work as a team-player
- Effective oral and written communication skills
Work schedule: 5.5 days per week, flexibility to work outside of regular work hours is required.
